just because I feel like this lately:

It’s Mallomar season again! They don’t make them in the summer because they turn to mush so easily. But now they’re back “Celebrating 90 years!” But they changed the box, just a regular cardboard box instead of the plain white hinged box with the yellow wrapper you had to cut off. I miss that.

… was played last night at Six Flags by Buffalo by Springsteen. Good thematic choice. Also one of my top ten favorite Springsteen songs.

Since last night was the first time it was played since 1988- think he might just keep it in and play it on 10/4?

I’ve been reading the “discussion” part of the National Hurricane Center site where they talk about how they’re making their projections for the hurricane. Sometimes they’re pretty funny.

It’s huge! It looks like we won’t get the eye near us, but the winds and rain will still be nasty.

Apparently Kenan Stadium in Chapel Hill started dropping GA tickets (right in front of the stage) some time last night. I just pulled up 8 GAs less than 10 hours before showtime.

So this is what the screen looks like when you get GAs! (yes, I tossed them back into the pool.)
