Like it? Heh. It might change. I’m not 100% thrilled with it, I whipped it off really quick in Paint Shop Pro and my contacts are fuzzing out on me. It’s a strange way to work on graphics, through blurry contacts. I’m sure I’ll look at it in the morning and wonder what I was thinking.

But that darn Christmas spirit is running rampant right now and I couldn’t help m’self!

Thanksgiving is over…

…let us give thanks.

It’s not that it was bad, I just didn’t really feel like doing all the work. But dinner was good, and we had a nice time, and the kids all got along really well which helped a lot.

On to Christmas season ! And I’m hosting no parties. Not one. Zero. Zilch. Nada. Uh-uh. No party hosting for me. Let someone else do it this year. I’m takin’ a break. Yeppers.

No, I don’t think I sound very convinced either… sigh.

An excellent essay from The Observer in the UK, showcasing the impact Springsteen can have on a fan’s life: Blind faith in Bruce almighty

Too much going on…

Sunday, November 23rd, 2003

I haven’t been properly keeping up my lurking in the Springsteen groups, and I completely missed the announcement for the Christmas shows. And I completely missed the ticket sale, which was yesterday.

Darn it. I’m already feeling bummed about missing Plunderfest that weekend, and this would have been a very nice substitute TYVM.

Note to self: next December- first weekend see Springsteen Christmas concert. Second weekend go to Plunderfest II.

Start saving now!

One of the men on my own personal (very small) list of sexiest men* has made it to the level of People Mag’s Sexiest Man Alive.

But did they have to make him share the cover? Ewww.

*my list :

  • My husband
  • Bruce Springsteen
  • Johnny Depp
  • George Clooney

I reserve the right to add others, of course.

Mickey Mouse Statues

Friday, November 21st, 2003

To celebrate Mickey Mouse’s 75th birthday earlier this week, various celeb-types were invited to design/decorate their own Mickey Mouse statue:
Mickey Statues

…the statues will remain at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom through April 2004 for guests to enjoy. From there, the statues are presently scheduled to visit Philadelphia, Boston, Atlanta, Minneapolis, Chicago, Denver, Kansas City, Houston, Dallas, Portland, Disneyland, Washington D.C. and New York City. In 2005, Sotheby’s Auction House will auction off the statues for charity. All proceeds from the auction will go to the charity chosen by each artist.

I’d love to get my hands on a blank to decorate!
