Cuz Peg asked what’s up with boy #2, so here’s a shot from two weeks ago from a scout trip aboard the Battleship NJ, with his friend Mickey on the left

Fools On’a Mission

A couple from Mystic CT are biking cross country for the second year in a row: Fools On’a Mission.

Another example of cool stuff you can find just surfing through random blogs.

Andy is apparently having a wonderful time in London because he hasn’t bothered to call his mother. I gave him an out, told him I’d be functioning under no news is good news rules. And he did spend a pound to email me from an internet cafe. I probably got more information from him in that email than I will in person. I’m not one of those moms that panics if my kids get out of my sight. And I’m glad, because I know people who stress out for entire semesters at a time when their kids go to college.

I really am looking forward to when he gets back tomorrow night, though.
Hope he took pictures!

We had a nice family day yesterday at my sweetie goddaughter’s baptism.

My brother and sister-in-law have a 3 season room that functions as a playroom during those three seasons. Obviously the season it functions as an extra refrigerator is winter. But that didn’t keep Tim and his new pal Julia from playing Legos out there as they shivered & watched their breath!

Tim & his new Bionicle

Happy 6th birthday to my baby!

Cat, it’s a Bionicle.

(edited to answer Cat’s question, found out I can’t put an html link in the comments!)

Andy’s off to London…

… and I’m not ::sniff::.

His flight is up and away, over the sea. He’ll land in the middle of the night our time, at sunrise London time. Sure hope he manages to sleep on the plane.
