What a great vacation! Usually when I go away I’m pretty happy to get back home into the regular routine, but this time I really wish we could have stayed away longer.
Note to self: avoid flying across the entire nation on the red-eye ever again. It’s painful.
One of my favorite moments from the trip- a totally Kinks experience. As we “walked down Hollywood Boulevard” I caught “Captain America calling” someone on his cellphone:
Do you think it was staged? Pretty funny.
What a hoot! Do you think he was calling Superman, who was taking the call in a phone booth somewhere?
Actually I didn’t even make the connection at the time, but Superman was there too! And the Kinks have a song called… Superman!
Too funny. Spiderman was there, and so was Sylvester the Cat, and now I’m wracking my brains to find a Kinks connection to them :D!
