I need to lose this Christmas skin, but I hate to just revert to an old one. The problem is idea block- I’ve been scanning various image sites for two days but nothing is hitting me as a good basis for a skin. Any suggestions?

Friday, December 31st, 2004The Big Wrap Up
Wednesday, December 29th, 2004I’ve had all these, erm, ponderings of how I should end the blogging year. Resolution list? Best of 2004? But problem is solved in a totally bloggy way, thanks to Tenth-Muse via Miss Zoot (both of whom I want to be when I grow up.) So here, now, is the 2004 Meme!
1. What did you do in 2004 that you’d never done before?
Learned how to run an internet BB with hundreds of members under extreme duress!
2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
No, and no. Maybe I’ll set a loose goal or two, but I’ve never kept resolutions.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
No.
5. What countries did you visit?
Does Los Angeles count?
6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004?
A job that pays me cash money, even a little bit. And a car without a dent in the back.
7. What dates from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
April 5, the day we boarded a plane to CA, my youngest kids’ first flight!
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Not completely crashing the aforementioned internet bb! And the morph from introvert to extrovert continued at a much fast pace- isn’t that like totally awesome?
9. What was your biggest failure?
Not being a good enough friend, I think. I have some making up to do.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nothing more than a month-long cold.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
All the songs I’ve picked up from iTunes! Having music back in my daily life really has made a difference, I’d let it slide too long.
Fine.
Wednesday, December 29th, 2004Finalists are up for the BOB Awards. I wasn’t picked, probably because no one nominated me :idunno: . No matter, voting starts 1/1/05, I’m off to check it out!
Help for South Asia
Wednesday, December 29th, 2004We all have amazon.com accounts, right? And most of us are set up for one-click, I’m sure. Go here and donate what you can to the Red Cross. Can’t be easier, and it’s a start, anyway.
I really need…
Wednesday, December 29th, 2004… someone to come and remove all remaining goodies from my home. I’m getting rid of them by eating them, but considering the difficulty I had this morning snapping my jeans, I need to find another way.
In other news, Andy’s fever & cold have been passed on to Tim. Any guesses as to who’s next? Hmm? :bummed:
Christmas all over again
Monday, December 27th, 2004Eating breakfast this morning, two days past Christmas, I was given a gift, one of these:
Pat said he hadn’t been able to find one before the holiday, but saw it when picking up the necessary video card that will allow the boys to enjoy their Christmas gifts.
A new toy to play with, whoopie! And such a nice post-Christmas surprise.
Peace
Sunday, December 26th, 2004Post holiday fresh start- I will begin by not rehashing the past two days. I’ll simply say I really want to go away someplace warm next Christmas, just my little family of 5, and leave it at that.
I have a nice relaxing week ahead, such a change from the past three! The kids are home from school, Pat has the week off, we have nowhere we really need to be all week except for dinner out with an old friend of Pat’s and his wife on Tuesday, and hopefully a holiday run into NYC to check out the tree and the new World of Disney store (oops, didn’t tell Pat about that part yet!) We’re even staying home… alone… for New Year’s Eve this year. We sometimes have parties here, occasionally we’ve gone to parties elsewhere, but generally I like just being home in front of the TV, drinking champagne and eating shrimp and chocolates with my family.
