What Struck Me

My parents, along with my aunt and uncle, are in Spain for the World Masters Athletics competition. My dad throws the javelin, and has won the gold in his age group (65+) in his last two competions, the Senior Olympics in Pittsburg and… some other world class competition in Canada.

Anyway, today was the competition. I’ll let you read the play by play- from my angle, anyway..

Ah, says here results will be posted “within minutes” on the internet. But where???

5th! As Dad said “from the distances given, I’ll be lucky to get 5th” So there ya go.

His birthdate is wrong… lol . It’s European style. 09/10 = Oct 9 in Spain.
