Time to drag out this little guy again

Not really cranky this year, just busy. No time for fun or even work- just all this family, holiday, crazy end of year stuff. Took Nick to the orthodontist today to get his braces, and while he was in there I ran around trying to get errands done. I have a stack of Christmas cards to write out, tons of gifts left to be bought. The outside lights aren’t up. I have to get my finances in order so I can get the stoopid FAFSA financial aid form filled out and submitted the first week of January (as if we’ll be getting anything…)
Dealing with some friendship issues aren’t helping- trying to decide how much of myself to invest with people who just drive me nuts. Meanwhile I’m excited (& a little nervous) about a party coming up this weekend with a couple I don’t even really know- new people, fresh blood :-).
It’s about darn time you posted something new! It’s always hard and scary meeting new friends….you just don’t know what to expect. But it could be a great thing, so don’t be so shy! Have fun at the holiday party coming up! And stay away from the lemon drops! hehe!
Don’t stress yourself about getting the FAFSA done that early. Most colleges have a priority date that’s closer to Feb 1–as long as it’s done by then, you’re in the first tier group.
We fill the stupid thing out every year just so Eric can get student loans, some of which are subsidized (meaning interest doesn’t accumulate till he graduates).
Steve just put up some outside lights last night. I may do the little tree today. Then again, I may not.
