So I decided just for the helluvit to do a quick switch to last year’s Christmas skin. I made a few little adjustments because I didn’t really adapt it properly… and now just realized my flickr badge is missing! I must put it back. Or maybe I’ll just do without for another week or so till I go back to the old skin. But then, I’d really like to make a new one, bored I am of the daisies.

My dad just sent me the photos he took on Sunday so I’m playing around editing them.
A big envelope from Rider U arrived today! And something from student financial services as well. Can’t open them- Andy’s got a bowling match and won’t be home for at least an hour.
Speaking of bowling- he’s really found his groove- his average over the first two matches is 200 on the nose! Best he’s ever bowled. He’s got this really unorthodox style, he puts all his weight (what there is of it) behind the ball and throws it straight down the lane. His ball is pretty light, too, only 12lbs. In fact I was planning to get him a new ball for Christmas, but considering how well he’s been doing (in his Saturday league as well- not quite those high scores but more consistant than ever and that average is creeping up, too) I don’t think it’s a good idea to change anything right now!
edited to add– he’s in. Was offered their Presidential scholarship :-).

Not really cranky this year, just busy. No time for fun or even work- just all this family, holiday, crazy end of year stuff. Took Nick to the orthodontist today to get his braces, and while he was in there I ran around trying to get errands done. I have a stack of Christmas cards to write out, tons of gifts left to be bought. The outside lights aren’t up. I have to get my finances in order so I can get the stoopid FAFSA financial aid form filled out and submitted the first week of January (as if we’ll be getting anything…)
Dealing with some friendship issues aren’t helping- trying to decide how much of myself to invest with people who just drive me nuts. Meanwhile I’m excited (& a little nervous) about a party coming up this weekend with a couple I don’t even really know- new people, fresh blood :-).
