The Sebring, she’s DOA

I’m carless today. Pat’s car officially gave up the ghost on Friday. We knew it was coming, just hoped it would hold out a bit longer to give us time to find a replacement. But as he was leaving his office- still in the parking lot- the front left wheel stopped turning. The front end & steering of that car have been giving him fits for years, and this time it’s just done. Not worth pouring another penny into it.

A few forutunate things. Pat’s been talking to a co-worker about buying a car from him, so hopefully that sale will go through in the next day or so. The car died in the lot, with no kids in the car, as opposed to on a highway at 65mph. Pat’s office is only about 15 minutes away, so I was able to go get him and if I need a car this week (and I do need one tomorrow) I’ll drive him in and pick him up. Of course, he spends a good deal of time on the road visiting clients so that plan won’t work for long.

If you know anyone in the market for Chrysler Sebring parts, let me know!

  1. Good luck finding a replacement quickly. In the meantime, Rent-a-Wreck!

Well, always good to look on the bright side…and then just laugh. Gool luck in the car hunt!
