That is SO my husband. When in 8th grade Ashley was having a party for a friend who was moving. She came stomping into the house and begged me to tell her dad to quit “playing with my friends!” He was playing basketball with the boys. She still insists he not talk to her friends, boys or girls, but he does anyway.
Yeah, right. I thought I was a cool mom until my nine-year old asked me to PLEASE leave the dance floor, because I’m EMBARASSING her!
