What a blah day. The Mets completely blew the season last night, had two PERFECT chances to win that game, didn’t take advantage of either Endy’s amazing catch OR a “knoblochian” throw to first that ended up in the stands. The Cards didn’t win, the Mets lost.
Tim spent the morning putting away his Met stuff till next year- including all his blue and orange crayons. I convinced him he didn’t need to go that far. Nick headed to school exhausted and wondering what to say to the Met haters at school- 8th grade is hard. Pat is just plain bummed.
So today, it’s pouring rain here. Wind is going to pick up through the day. I’m heading up to get Andy late this afternoon, glad he’s coming home, but driving in this weather up 287 freaks me out a bit. Stay right, away from trucks…
