It wasn’t good for the LPs, though.
Meanwhile, I need to buy a new stylus for my turntable, because yes, we sometimes still use it. No auto-loader, though.

Amazingly, we have a new turntable with an auto-loader! I bought one of these when our old audio receiver bit the dust. Because sometimes we still listen to records, too.

Back when I was selling them out of the backs of Conestoga Wagons I think we called them tone arms.
